Remember those simple times without internet-enabled smartphones, tablets, and other handheld devices? Can you remember when Wi-Fi was a luxury? Well, for a solid majority of young adults, this is ancient history.
In fact, for 56% of Millennials in the U.S., Wi-Fi availability is a necessity. It even trumps the need for the “boob-tube.” American Millennials now spend more time using a Wi-Fi enabled device than watching television.
If that wasn’t convincing enough, 75% of those in the U.S. said they would be grumpier if they went without Wi-Fi for a week than if they went a week without coffee or tea! It might not be long before the phrase “don’t talk to me before I’ve had my morning Wi-Fi” becomes a common adage.
